One room down, eight or nine more to go! It was “fun”… and by that I mean some late nights, one blow torch, several cans of paint, lots of nails, and a sore neck and worn out arms – the dining room reno is complete. Just about. There is some molding that needs to be painted, but that may wait until the new floors are installed, whenever that may be. These floors are poorly installed laminate planks.
So here are some pictures of the new room. Ingrid is still working on decor on some walls. We hope to have a farmhouse harvest table one day… but for now this old art table from Henderson Middle School is serving the purpose. The chandelier was a steal off of craigslist! (pardon the balloons, it was my birthday weekend). We are both excited with the results and (sorta) ready to move on to the next room!!
